Alright, so I said I wasn't going to do any more big batches of records, but I've been putting this off for way too long. These are about a month's worth of 7"s (LPs I'll go through tomorrow)

I'll get the worst out of the way first.
Ringwurm- Eject The End All
I got this for free when I bought some other records off of a dude. It's not the same as that other Ringworm band, who are actually good.
Crappy sludgy crusty music with some dude (I'm assuming) shrieking over it. If you like crappy Dystopia imitations buy this from me, or let me give it to you. Album cover folds out and has okay art on the back, including naked lady complete with boobs, the highlight of this stinker.

Shark Attack- Blood In The Water
Now we're talking! Easily the highlight of this batch (Beating out United Blood only because it's a repress). This band rules, and is a good time capsule of Bridge 9's hayday. I jumped at the opportunity to pick this up, and I'm glad that I did.

Lyrical highlight is definitely in the song CCP, with "The shit you say is so retarded, it's like talking to a wall".

Slumlords- Drunk At The YOT Reunion
I love Slumlords, Breakdown rules, Stout are pretty good and Pulling Teeth are alright so this super group of sorts makes me an all around happy dude. Add in songs about kids being drugged/molested at the kind of pop's swingin pad, and you get near perfection.

Despite the less than serious lyrics (not quite joke songs) this band is amazing musically. Good throwback to well, Breakdown but with more of a tough guy leaning. Side B is the stronger of the two with We've Been Had being the best song on the album.

Agnostic Front- United Blood
It's the United Blood EP, what else is there to say?
Glad it got repressed, there was no way I was going to get my hands on an OG copy.

Riff Raff- Low Lifer
The band that "Doesn't curse".
That aside, this rules. Straight forward negative mid-tempo hardcore with great lyrics. I'm not sure what else to say about this other than the fact that I like it, I wish the Eating Rats bands were still around.

Breakdown- The 87 Demo
In my opinion there are 4 bands that are the epitome of NYHC in my eyes, those being Agnostic Front, Breakdown, Cro-Mags and Warzone. Breakdown fucking rule, I don't even feel the need to elaborate. Jeff Perlin is one of my favorite frontmen and this is probably the best material Breakdown put out, with everything after it still ruling, just not as much.

SHIT YOU'VE GIVEN ME WILL BE THROWN BACK. YOU'D BETTER BRACE FOR MY ATTACK

Poison Control- The Violent Years

Featuring ex-members of Cut The Shit, Poison Control fit on Deranged Records fairly well. Trashy hardcore with catchy guitar hooks and pissed off vocals, think early Black Flag played at mid-tempo, it's really good but nothing really unique.

Highlight track is definitely Nervosa, the second song on the B side.
I'm so nervous, its a social disease.
